Who is Mads Hartmann Jensen? I’m a 21 year old student at the IT university of Copenhagen (ITU) where I’m currently getting my Bachelors degree in Software Development. I work as a front-end developer at Robocat and a software developer at 41Concepts where I work on a commercial Lift based web application.
Who is Kimberly Blessing? I’m a web developer, standards evangelist, technical leader, and teacher. By day I am a senior software architect at Comcast Interactive Media and by night I teach in the Computer Science department at Bryn Mawr College, my alma mater. I’m also a member of the Web Standards Project (WaSP).
Who is Xavier Shay? I make computers do wonderful things, swing dance, enjoy exercise, rock climb, live vegan, and I teach others how to do the same. I am in my mid-twenties and live in Melbourne, Australia. I write a personal development blog with my brother at http://two-shay.com I write about code at http://rhnh.net
Who is Dave Fayram? I’m a long time programming hobbyist who just happens to get paid for his work. Unlike some developers that are in it for the challenge of building big systems, I’m in it for the challenge of learning new things. In particular, I’m a total language nerd. Actually, I’m a total nerd [...]
My hosting arrangement with MediaTemple ends next week, and right now I can’t afford to renew it. It’s costing me $18/month to host the site, and to cover those costs I’d like to add a 125px banner ad (on a 1 year contract) whose proceeds would be paid directly to MediaTemple. Unfortunately if I don’t figure [...]
Who is Eric Florenzano? I’m a developer and a new entrepreneur. I was interested in Django early in its lifetime, and became an outspoken enthusiast for it–creating screencasts, tutorials, and reusable applications for it. As the sites that I worked on got larger, my focus shifted to scalability in general, and then to databases, and [...]
Who is Mathias Meyer? A dabbler, a generalist, a jack of all trades, a master of none, a verbose tweeter the Switzerland of NoSQL, but most importantly, he’s working at a small company called Peritor in Berlin, Germany, where he makes the clouds and infrastructure do his bidding, spending most of his time working on [...]
Who is Sean Cribbs? I’m a developer and music geek. I maintained and directed Radiant CMS for just over two years, and I’m currently the author and maintainer of Ripple, a collection of gems that help you connect your Rails 3 applications to Riak, a distributed key-value store product that is made by my employer, [...]
Who is Tony Arcieri? Who am I? There’s not really one distinct subculture I fit into. I’m something of a goth hippie nerd. While musically I tend to be the exact opposite of a hipster, getting into bands long after they’re popular. But technologically I’m a total hipster, always looking for the latest trends and [...]
